To-do Lists App Reviews

Simple and elegant

This app works as advertised, and I’m running the latest version of Mavericks. The unnarrated instructional video is kind of a joke but once you start using the app, you’ll catch on quickly and learn to love it. One of my favorite features is dragging a URL favicon to a To-Do window and having it create a link for future viewing (you can shorten its name). That helps keep my desktop uncluttered and gives me a quick, visible reminder. I did have one question for the developer. Response time was quick. Forget Task Paper and get this one.

Best To Do list ever

Love this!! In 20 minutes I had my To Do lists for 4 different projects and a couple for home up and running. Lots of options in this little app that keep an overloaded writer/business woman and mom organized. Thanks so much! xo

Simple and functional app

Highly customizable appearance. Easy and clear operation. I am not seeing any cons of this app. Some reviewers mentioned there is a problem in syncing? But I only use it as a desktop reminder/to-do list so haven’t found it problematic. Update on April 2014: Got the most updated version and now it aligns different to-do lists. Seriously, this is AWWWWWESOME.

Latest Update Deleted all to-dos

I was really loving this application, but once the latest update was installed, all of my to do lists are gone.

Great, simple todo

This is a great to do list application. It’s simple, easy to use as is their notes program. The only thing I would wish for is being able to attach a to do list to a specific application like Antnotes does.

Buggy

Downloaded this because it looked like exactly what I needed - just a simple To Do List, no extra stuff. However, it was buggy from the start; each window would ‘roll up’ and wouldn’t allow me to unroll it so I could see my lists. Also, the translucent feature didn’t work despite how the preferences were set. Not worth the money until they work out the bugs, in my opinion.

Great little app!

Just installed this app on my MacBook Pro and synced it with Reminders so I see the items on my phone and iPad. It is perfect if you need a simple to-do list that will sync with Reminders. I had it all set up in about 3 minutes and it works perfectly. Definitely worth the purchase price.

Well worth the money

The colors, notes that roll up or down, translucence, checklists… this has become my “go to” app for all the tasks needed for farm, home, outside work, and volunteering. Keeping tasks in regular organizer apps like Reminders or Todo didn’t cut it, as they couldnt organize/show as I needed, and tasks would get lost. Apple’s “Notes” was too simple - no reminders, no checklists, not much customization. To-do Lists can customize its text, appearance & behavior in numerous ways, export your tasks, and even sync it with iCal/Reminders. Now all tasks show on my desktop in the manner I want, which keeps me on track. I’ve barely scratched the surface of all this small app can do. Nice!

Exactly what I needed.

Simple and to the point. Exactly what I wanted. Sits on my desktop as a visual reminder of what I need to do. Not a fancy web app with features I don’t require. Syncs with Dropbox so I can share the lists between my iMac and MBP. I will say that $4.99 is a bit steep; and because of the pricing, I did try many others options before coming back to this app. However, in the end, the cost was worth it to me.

PERFECT!

I cannot express how excited I am to find this app. I tried some other big ticket to dos apps that were lacking the simple expectations. Wish I could get my money back, because at a fraction of the price, this is PERFECT. I loved Stickies for the Mac, and I also wanted to find a simple to do app, one that could live in the menu bar only, and be easily accessible, but also get the hck out of the way while I work. I also wanted folders to categorize my to-dos. And I wanted to to be able to set default fonts, colors, etc. Oh, and I wanted to sync across devices. I sound picky . . . This app perfectly blends Stickies, and all the features I mentioned. Instead of folders, I can just create a a new “stickie”. Price may seem steep, as I thought at first, but it is SO seamless, so useful - I am happy to support this developer. It is how apps should work for OS X. Simple, yet customizable. Easy to use, and gets out of the way. Awesome. Spend the money, it is worth it.

A W E S O M E App!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a terrific app! I use it for my job and it is helping me tremendously. What I like about most about it is that it has GREAT features yet it’s very simple to use. I have always used “Stickies” for Mac and although it was working ok, this is 1000 times better. Worth every penny!! Oh, and their support is really good too. I emailed them with a question and they replied within less than 24 hours. I’m extremely happy with this APP.

love it

i find this program is very usafull for my everyday use

I downloaded the update on 4/15 and now the app is inoperable

I loved this app until the latest update, released today. I am running MAC 10.7.5 and now the app no longer works, so thats $4.99 down the toilet. Please be more thorough is testing your software before realeasing new updates. I lost a lot of work. Thanks!

Call me simple

Yep, call me simple, but a checklist is just what I need. A few words and a box to mark it done. If you need an app that does lists, doubles as a rocket launcher, and makes you lattes, dont bother with this one. The extras this app does have are good since I use a special font designed for displexics, and list "page" colors allow me to know at a glance which one is about what. The fact that the done items drop to the bottom and grey out is nice. My daily list is light grey and I use different type sizes to designate something that suddenly gets more important. Yellow is my working list like grocery shopping. You get the idea. Im probably missing some of the functionality but Im just a simple gal who needs a checklist.

Gets the job done!

I’m a simple gal too. Just give me a couple of lists & I’m good to go. I like that I can email them too; just did that with my IT Superhero. He’ll be over next week & knows exactly what to do. Thanks guys, this is an app I use every day.

Use it everyday

I like to run paperless, that includes not having thousands of notes on my desk and stickies on my screen. This is great. I have a bucket list, several to do list, etc. I take notes during calls on things to do and then just check them off and throw away the list when all done. It’s simple and easy. I love that I’m not having to assign due dates and stuff. Just like paper without the paper.

Thank you!

I was looking for a to-do app like this for a long time.

Exactly what you need - nothing you dont

We have tried many To Do apps over the years. Including ones I have paid $50 for, some that were just for me and others were company wide solutions with task assignment. They all failed . They were good too, but fundamentally what we needed is something easy to use that is constantly available and easy to access. To me it is the FLOATING aspect that was most important, plus how easy to use it is. It has just the right features - what I need, nothing I don’t. I’ve since turned on my boss and CEO to this app as well, and after the latest exec meeting where I presented my screen and had it in the corner several others on my team have requested it too! The only add I would make is the ability to turn an email into a To Do from my mail app - that feature may be there but it isn’t terribly obvious if it is. I liked that in my other app I had a shortcut that would do that.

Great Check List App

Simple and an effecient way to track simple tasks.

Very Simple

Just what I was looking for! Simple, easy to use, easy to read. The best part is it actually syncs with all devices!!! Nice to have something that just works :)
